Ana Galhardo is a clinical psychologist and author whose clinical work and research has been mainly dedicated to promote mental health and wellbeing of people facing fertility problems. She co-authored the Mindfulness Based Program for Infertility and has expertise in developing and applying contextual cognitive behavioural therapies (e.g., mindfulness and compassion based programs; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). She is an integrated PhD member at the University of Coimbra CINEICC (FPCEUC, Portugal) and the author of several papers, published in the best peer-review journals in the area. She has been on the editorial board of Human Reproduction and is a member of the Working Group for Reproductive Health Issues and Medically Assisted Reproduction of the Order of Portuguese Psychologists. She is a lecturer in Clinical Psychology at Instituto Superior Miguel Torga, Portugal. She founded the Psychological Support Network of APFertilidade.
